Welcome

Welcome to our wedding website! Thank you for visiting, we hope that you'll find all the information you need about our wedding here. Please come back often, as we will be adding new details regularly. We're looking forward to celebrating our big day with you!

Our Story

Jay and I met in fall 2007 on match.com (yes, an internet dating website). We spent two months emailing each other before he called to ask me out on a date. He called me on Sunday evening, December 2. It was the first time we had talked on the phone. He asked if I wanted to go to the Nuggets vs. Lakers game the following Wednesday night. I already had plans that Wednesday, so we looked online to check on other games. It turned out there was a Nuggets game that very night. So, about an hour after we first talked, we met at the Pepsi Center for the Nuggets vs. Heat game. We had a great time at the game and decided to go out to dinner afterwards. After dinner Jay asked me if I wanted to go out again. I said yes.

The following Friday we went out on our second date. Jay picked me up in a nice BMW 5 series and we went downtown for dinner. Later on, I found out the car wasn’t his, it was his friend’s. Those of you that know Jay know that he drives a big Dodge Ram. :)

After just a few dates, we realized how much we had in common and how much we enjoyed being together. We’ve shared a lot of great memories since then and we are looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together.

Our Engagement

On Saturday night, December 20, Jay proposed in front of the beautifully lit Denver City and County Building. He handed me a key to his house and said that he wanted me to move in with him. I said we would have to be married first, which was no surprise to him because we both felt that way. Then he said that he wanted to get married and I told him that I felt the same way. Then he got down on one knee and asked me if I would marry him, and I said yes. This is a picture we took together just before he popped the question.
